If you want to help protect the rivers and streams that wind through Springfield and Clark County, there are many ways to get involved.
Here are a few:
|
- Help mark storm drains with a message that reminds people that these drains go to local waterways. Contact Springfield's Stormwater Coordinator: Sky Schelle sschelle@ci.springfield.oh.us or call (937) 324-7739 if you have a school, church, or other civic group that would like to do this.
- There are many watershed groups that cover Clark County. Consider offering one of them your support.
- Learn how to be a Watershed Watchdog and spot poor erosion and sediment control at construction sites so you can report it to Springfield's Stormwater Coordinator: Sky Schelle sschelle@ci.springfield.oh.us or call (937) 324-7739.
- Encourage your group to learn more about water quality by scheduling a speaker. Call 937-324-7739.
