Springfield in Full Bloom

"Springfield in Full Bloom" is the local branded name for the nationwide 2010 America in Bloom competition program in which Springfield, Ohio is participating. The goal is to build community pride, as the area in which we live reflects upon the people, businesses, and organizations of our community. Springfield's participation in this nationwide contest helps spread the message Springfield is a great place to live, work, play, and visit. The judges visited Springfield on July 8 and 9 to assess our community on: community involvement, floral displays, environmental awareness, heritage preservation, landscaped areas, tidiness, turf and ground covers, and urban forestry. The results for the 2010 America in Bloom competition will be available mid to late September.
