The Crimes Against Persons Unit investigates incidents that involve physical harm to people. This would include homicide, rape, child sexual/physical abuse, felonious assault or aggravated assault. These officers have specialized training in the investigation of these serious incidents. There is currently one sergeant and six officers assigned to these tasks.
