This department administers and coordinates the activities for the following City Boards:

• City Planning Board
• Board of Zoning Appeals
• Board of Building Appeals
• Springfield Historic Landmarks Commission
• Community Grant Advisory Board (CGAB)
• Salvage Yard Review Board

Duties of these boards range from formulating policies and procedures to resolving appeals of various state and city regulations.
