Celebrating and Discovering Our Diverse Heritage
- A time to celebrate culture. Wonderful entertainment on two stages and strolling musicians on the plaza. Dancers, bands, choirs, drummers, and acrobats!
- A time to discover the tastes of many cultures. Indian, Mexican, Greek, Italian, Soul Food, Barbeque, Hungarian. Buy merchandise from ethnic vendors, and learn about our world at information booths.
- A time to enjoy interactive activities for all ages.
Sell food and drinks of your culture, display ethnic merchandise, or share information about your organization.
Submit a CD of your band, choir, or dance group. Share your heritage through entertainment.
Share an activity with children or adults. Sign up to help with logistics of the day. Help plan the event.
Become a sponsor of Culture Fest. Help make this annual event an on-going success, and gain positive recognition for being a part of this well know community event.
CultureFest is an outgrowth from the City's 1996 Study Circles, which brought people together for
dialogue on race and ethnic issues. The first CultureFest was held in September of 1997 and it continues to be a well-established community festival of entertainment, ethnic food, merchandise, and informational booths.
