Preparing for Atlanta

Getting ready for the trip to Atlanta was hard work, but thanks to the wonderful community members who participated, it was fun too!

The city celebrated the AAC finalist designation and wished the delegation luck with a festive send off rally as they left for the competition.

              

Bus Ride to Atlanta

The delegation had a great time spending time together on the bus trip, especially the kids!

The schedule for the weekend was packed full of energizing rallies, parties, and performances.

Practicing for the presentation took a great deal of effort from every one of the Springfield representatives.

Civic Action Fair

Springfield got a chance to showcase our wonderful community not only through the informational booth, but also through an ensemble of gospel songs performed by the whole group.

After winning the award, community members came together to celebrate the incredible achievement of being named an All-America City!
