The mission of Springfield5 is to promote Springfield and Clark County in a positive light. This can be accomplished by identifying and enhancing the role government plays in the lives of its citizens; by educating the public on all the avenues touched by government through service and tax dollars, both outgoing and incoming; by producing programming which highlights and furthers the policies and priorities established by local governments and broadcasting that programming through Time-Warner Cable Channel 5, thereby providing citizens and businesses alike with efficient, effective, and cooperative government, oriented toward customer service.
