City's Snow Removal Plan

salt shed In accordance with the City's snow removal plan, primary and secondary streets will be cleared/treated first. This includes plowing and applying salt. Residential street plowing will follow but they will only be salted at intersections, hills, and curves. Please be patient, as it will take time for the plow drivers to remove snow and/or ice from all streets, and the deeper the snow, the longer it will take crews to clear all roadways. Snow cleared from driveways should be placed in the yard or to the right (looking at the street) of drive entrances to prevent it being pushed back into the drive opening when your street is plowed. We also ask residents, please do not blow snow into the street, as it will only make driving conditions worse. For more information regarding the City's policies on snow and ice removal contact the Service Department at 937-525-5800.
